The A-List's Pod Learning Groups (PLGs) are the ideal solution for families who must opt for distance learning this fall.
Pod Learning Groups are client-designed small group "homeschool" pods of 2 to 5 students. Pods are facilitated by experienced tutors and teachers. There are two pod models:
1) Model 1:
Teachers will use the existing distance learning curriculum from the school in which your child is currently enrolled. In these programs, teachers can do as much or as little as you want -- from supervising students' school Zoom class, to assisting with homework, and enriching the curriculum through creative hands-on activities such as science experiments, art projects, and even field trips.
2) Model 2:
Teachers will develop a homeschool curriculum that is designed entirely by us. This customized program is highly specialized and tailored to your students' needs, passions, and interests. In addition, this program requires an extremely experienced classroom teacher.
Teachers are available 3 or 5 days a week. PLGs must take place outside, so families will need adequate space to accommodate socially distanced learning. Student groups should be put together at the client's discretion regarding safety and quarantine. Tutors and teachers will adhere to CDC mask guidelines and fees include weekly staff testing.
